which means you can access Janet as you coach from all over the world as well as in West Cumbria.
Welcome to Bosson Dance, where passion meets expertise! With over 36 years of teaching experience, Janet is a highly skilled dance instructor and choreographer specializing in a variety of dance styles including: International Ballroom, Latin American, Classical Sequence, Musical Theatre, Swing, Street & Hip Hop, Oriental and Argentine Tango.
Beyond her dance classes and private lesson in Bootle Cumbria, Janet can be found preparing bespoke choreography for a wedding or a school proms

As a Personal Trainer, specialising in Women's Fitness, Janet can offer personalized fitness plans to meet the needs of women during perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopausal stages, of life and with her diploma's in 'Working through Cancer' and 'Myofascial Release' she can help you understand exercise as a part of your recovery.
Her qualifications means she can incorporate Dance, Yin yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Pilates into her plans as well as sound baths and meditation.

Janet and her husband John are trained as 'walk leaders' with the Ramblers Association allowing them to work as volunteers with Active Cumbria leading free Well Walks in the community.
They also lead their 'Walk with a Twist' sessions bringing the community together for a walk and a fun activity.

Janet is deafened and uses technology (Bilateral BAHA's aids, mic and sound belt) visual (Lipreading and BSL) to help with communicating and understanding the world around her.
Through our Sign Circle Group in Bootle, she promotes deaf awareness and understanding, by running coffee mornings, theatre trips and other events.
As the "Deaf Woman Walking" she often found walking for various deaf charities.
Janet also works as a trustee for Surface Area Dance Theatre, in Newcastle, who working with and supporting D/deaf and diverse artists and communities.

Surface Area Dance Theatre is North East England’s multi-award-winning, inclusive performing arts charity. Since 2022, have been a funded Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. With a strong commitment to accessibility and engagement, SADT plays a pivotal role in shaping and enriching the UK’s cultural landscape, while also influencing international arts and cultural practices.
Combining Janet's expertise in dance, and drama she runs a fun Show Team in Bootle who put on shows for the community.
As a coach with a diploma in both acting and drama therapy as well as performing arts, Janet happy to help with both choreography and the performance side of anyone's show work.
