Week 1

Chris - Nadia

Good Samba footwork in places, nice foot positions. Now he needs to work on body action, timing and rhythm. Okay for week one.

Alex - JoJo

Fantastic storytelling,  lovely frame when in hold, but not enough.

Footwork good, but the

music was terrible for a Viennese Waltz, and I didn’t actually see any Viennese steps.

Harry - Karen

Nice choreography, good rhythm, but when the pro is out of time the celebrity should not be penalised. Shame he is so muscle bound, as the body can’t move as it should for Cha Cha Cha.

Stefan -  Dianne

Foxtrot is about tracking the legs which he didn’t do, but his frame was good in hold, and the footwork wasn’t bad, loved the storytelling and the rhythm.

Ellie -  Vito

Great energy and excellent timing and rhythm. Plenty of choreography and I don’t think she made a mistake. Beautiful armology for Cha cha cha.

Lewis - Katya

Wow Lewis the foot speed.  Timing and rhythm was great. Fantastic Jive footwork that was a brilliant Jive. But then he was in Billy Elliot in the west end.

Ross - Jowita

Lots of knee action but no body action. Sadly this cha cha cha was flat footed and lots of mistakes. His balance was off but that was because his feet turned in, let’s hope Jowita works on this for next week.

George -  Alexis

Nice choreography,  loved the lifts and a great posture. He danced that beautifully, lovely leg positions and footwork.

Vicky -  Kai

Again not much hip action,  I felt her legs were too straight and yet the leg are supposed to be straight, in Cha cha cha. I think it was the foot action that caused it. But it was very good and her arms were lovely.

Jimmy -  Lauren

Nice frame and lightness and glide across the floor, He needs to work on head positioning but I’m being picky.

Lovely timing and rhythm, I enjoyed this dance.

Balvinder - Julian

A little heavy legged, and knees too bent, Timing quite good but rhythm and interpretation for Samba was lacking.

La Voix- Aljaz

Nice armology, good frame, but a bit clumsy in places, but that I think was down to not following properly.

I liked the storytelling and the choreography.

Tom - Amy

Very wooden I’m afraid and no connection with Amy on the performance side. No mistakes in the Paso choreography that I could see and quite good footwork, but perfect example of correct timing but know rhyme.

Amber - Nakita

A beautifully danced Waltz, loved the choreography. So elegant for a days training. Nakita was as usually out of time and at one point was dance 312 instead of 123 but that’s nothing new with Nakita.

Karen - Carlos

Great energy and good rhythm and timing throughout. Her body action was brilliant and her balance was great, loved the flicks and kicks.  The choreography was amazing and she got it all.

That was a great show

My favourites so far

Karen - Carlos,

Lewis - Katya,
