Strictly Christmas
Professionals Great opening number
Babatunda and Nancy -
Charleston.
Nice swivels and good timing and rhythm. Loved the choreography and well remembered, needs to work on more energy in the arms. But I loved the story telling and the partnership was fantastic.
Melenie and Kai -
Theatre Jazz.
Nice ‘cross steps’ and ‘jab kicks, great ‘roll of the arm’. Great use of props, good timing and rhythm. Very Fred and Ginger, love the number.
Brian and Michelle - Jive.
Nice ‘choreography liked the ‘Jig walks’ love the ‘moon walks’, His ‘kicks’ were on a flex foot in stead of a point I’m afraid. Good timing and rhythm and full of energy.
Jodi and Neil - Commercial Street.
Loved the BSL at the start. Great energy loved the ‘Top Rocks, and the Knee Raises and especially all the break work. Great rhythm and timing.
Nicholas and Luba - Viennese Waltz.
Nice ‘natural and reverse turns’ ‘change steps’ and ‘back to backs’ Good frame and movement, he glided beautifully across the floor. The rhythm, timing, and story telling was excellent.
Scarlett and Vito - Cha Cha Cha
Loved the ‘Ronda, and Brazilian Drop, great ‘Continuous Chasse. Great rhythm and timing a very stylish routine full of energy. Loved the hip action and the armology. This was the best dance of the night but I only other comment is Scarlett has done the competitive Ballroom dance circuit, both as a child and adult dancer.

Deaf Awareness
I think Jodi did great. when you wear a cochlear implant you can hear music because the implant stimulates the auditory nerve, but it sounds very different it can be distorted, flat, or harsh compared to normal hearing, with rhythm generally better perceived than melody or timbre.
