Planning and Choreography Tips
Many couples worry about feeling awkward during their first dance. So here’s some tips:
To Choreograph or Not? You need to discuss the prospect of a dance with each other. Ensure your both on the same page. Look at the pros and cons of a simple sway versus a fully choreographed routine.
Simple Moves for the Unsure: A coach can suggest beginner-friendly dance moves and highlight the goals you want to achieve like having fun fun, and that the dance doesn’t have to be perfect.
The "Surprise" Dance: Think about the idea of starting with a slow song and suddenly transitioning into a high-energy medley to get guests involved and create a memorable moment.
Timing is Everything: We advise couples to keep the dance to about 90 seconds or cut the song short to prevent it from feeling too long.
