A stretching routine for Latin dance (Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, etc.).

It focuses on hips, spine, legs, and feet—the areas that give you fluid motion, sharp lines, and grounded power.


🔥 Warm-up first (5–7 minutes)


Never stretch cold muscles.


  • Light cardio: march, bounce, or dance basics

  • Hip circles (small → large)

  • Shoulder rolls & rib cage slides

Now is the perfect time to get moving. Any amount of physical activity benefits both your body and your mind. Adults should aim to be active every day doing a little is great, and doing more brings even greater rewards.


A brisk daily walk can energise your body, boost your mood, and make everyday tasks feel easier. But there more we can all do to help keep the body fit and active.


You can stand rather than sit when you can, on the bus or train or try getting off the bus a stop or two early and walking the rest of the way.


When driving, park a little further away than you need to even if it’s just the other end of the car park.
