Blues - This will be a couple dance swing jazz style
Foxtrot - This will be a couple dance in a 1920’s style
Samba - We will be having a dance off in a 1920’s Samba style
Mock Charleston competition
Plus the Cowboy Charleston for everyone as the finally
We will need a
First four bars
Starts with a “snap & step”:
Count 1 - 4 step right, snap fingers above head,
Count 5-8 step left, snap fingers at chest level
This repeats
Second four bars
Bars 1 and 2 are 8 walks starting on LEFT foot. (That important)
The dance is a cheeky number so we need lots of smiles and facial expressions.
This will be bar 3
Count 1 - left foot to side
Count 2 - right foot to side having turned 180 degrees to left
Count 3 - left foot to side have turned another 180 degrees to left
Our show this November is a 1920’s Show
