Swing Jazz number

Bars 1 and 2 are 8 walks starting on LEFT foot. (That important)

The dance is a cheeky number so we need lots of smiles and facial expressions.


This will be bar 3

Count 1 - left foot to side

Count 2 - right foot to side having turned 180 degrees to left

Count 3 - left foot to side have turned another 180 degrees to left

Count 4 - right foot loses to left foot



This will be bar 4

Count 1 - right foot to side

Count 2 - left foot closes to right foot

Count 3 -  right foot to side

Count 4 - left foot closes to right foot without weight.

I will teach the armology in class.


Time to practice


Counts 1-8 walks starting on left foot

Counts 9-12 Four step turn traveling leftwards

Counts 13-16 side, close, side, close.

Count 2 - Right foot side left Heel forward

Count 3- Left foot side

Count 4 - Left foot side and right Heel forward


Bar 8 & 9

Count 1/2 - right foot flicked back forward

Count 3&4 - lock step

Count 5/6 - right foot flicked back forward

Count 7&8 - lock step

Count 2 - Pivot Turn

Count 3 - Right foot forward
