Bootle Village Wellbeing Walk
A former 14th- century market town.
We start at the carpark opposite the medieval church of St Michael’s with its font dating back to approximately 1535.
We then proceed to walk down Church Lane with graveyard on the right. Passing the old police house and at Lane house corner of Chapel Lane turning left at the junction with Chapel Lane and walk back towards Main Street, stopping at the lane that goes past the surgery.

Here we walk up the lane between the field with a great view of Black Combe. Stopping where the road inclines towards the farm. Here we turn and walk back to and continuing up Chapel street to Main Street.
As we walk up this part of chapel street we will pass the chapel which dates back to 1780’s
