Musical week
George and Alexa
Sorry I would not call the routine he did an Argentine Tango. I counted 8 bars of AT throughout. The routine was full of drama and tricks, it was in time with the music and the rhythm was great. I loved the partnership but it was untidy in places and the music didn’t fit the Argentine Tango.
Karen & Carlos
Lots of Samba steps full of energy and she preformed them well.
There was a few mistakes but she kept going, lovely spins with timing spot on. Again the music didn’t work it was in 4/4 not 2/4 which meant it had no bounce in the rhythm and therefore she couldn’t create it within the dance.
Balvinder & Julian
Beautiful story telling and emotional. Dance frame was nice and her footwork was great. But only 10 bars of VW in the whole routine.
I do wish this pro would dance to the correct side of his lady and not push her off his right side which would allow her to dance better.
Amber and Nikita
Full of great tricks and lifts this was a very good routine, spot on timing and rhythm so in sync.
But then Charleston on Musical week is a great call because the music suited the style.
Lewis & Katya
Salsa to Westside story is a perfect choice as it is originally Mambo. I loved this show routine lots of great Salsa steps the most difficult choreography of the night but then Katya always pushes and creates great routines.
My order for tonight’s competition
1- Lewis & Katya
2- Amber and Nikita
3- Balvinder & Julian
4- Karen & Carlos
5- George and Alexa
But as Lewis and Amber are both professional dancers then I feel this it’s a competition of two half’s
Tonight the music let some of the couples down which is the programs fault not the dancers.
