Strictly Final

Karen and Carlos - Argentine

Master Class with Motsi

Traditional Argentine Tango as it would have been dance in Argentina ( Two men vibe) we often forget it originated as a same sex dance.

Nice Back and Forward Ochos. The Ganchos where sharp yet lose which is perfect. Loved the Sweep, and use of Salida. Great story telling and lovely timing, boy can this girl Spin.

Amber and Nikita - Show-dance

Very much Acro Dance style full of energy with a two bars of Salsa popped in. Love her as a dancer and this is her style, shame Nakia went behind the beat a few times (nothing new there).  Clever lifts and lines, this style doesn’t have much dance to it, she performed it well, would have liked to she her transition a bit better but it was great.

George and Alexis

show-dance This was a proper Segue style. It started with Lindy hop/ Jive and went into Foxtrot Prom Runs. like the Tango Progressive Link to Tango Fan section.

Great lifts and story telling, loved the way he lead the dance throughout and all the change of rhythm elements.

Karen and Carlos

Show dance this was a full out Hip Hop Street Dance, though the 20 bar intro was what is called Disco Freestyle Slow’ in the dance world.

Love the top rocks especially the in hold syncopated section and all the popping and locking was sharp. They were very together and showed this style very well.

Amber and Nikita - Jive

Loved this Jive choreography. I saw; slow chicken and fast walks,  Simple Spins, American, Fallaway Throwaway, Whip, Merengue Time Steps, Jig walks as well as kick and flicks. Timing and rhythm great.

George and Alexis - Paso Doble

Love he can dance solo  at the beginning and then lead with a partner. This  was very dramatic and had great shaping. The choreography was full on with Prom Walks and Runs, Flamenco Points, Sur Place, Chasse, Elevation, Cape loved it all.

Karen and Carlos - Jive

She great at the flicks and kicks, I love the octopus in the middle. I felt it lack in Jive figures I only saw once fallaway throwaway and one change of place, the rest was trick and flicks but the girl can dance.
